Keywords:
Classroom, English Language Learning, Systematic Review, Higher EducationAbstract
This study has been designed to investigate classroom environment and English language learning skills among students in higher education through systematic review. Classrooms have impacted English language learning in higher education in developed and developing countries. This study is based on a systematic review. The review has been extracted on the inclusion criteria for the classroom environment and language learning skills among students at the tertiary level. The data has been extracted from online databases including Emerald Insights, Tylor & Francis, Sage, JSTORE, Welly, etc. The authenticity of the documents has been ensured by Google Scholar. The process continued till reaching the point of saturation and 137 research published documents have been used in this research. The study based on systematic review asserts that classroom environment is a very important aspect of English language learning among students at the tertiary level. The study findings outline that teacher and student interaction enhances analytical language learning skills along with other job-oriented skills among the students. It has also been found that classroom discussion along with presentation skills during classes under the supervision of teachers and mentors improve the language learning skills of the students.
