This research delves into Pakistani laws encompassing cybercrime that exist to control or mitigate the respective critical issue. This research elaborates on the strengths and weaknesses of Pakistani cybercrime laws and explores the cyber offense's vulnerable areas. The respective research aims to analyze the current situation of cybercrime and its role in Pakistan. This research also highlights cybercrime's social, psychological, economic, and political effects in Pakistan. It further discusses the role of the National Response Centre for Cyber Crime (NR3C) and cyber laws legislation in Pakistan. Finally, the role of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016 is critically analyzed.
