Abstract

This study comprehensively analyzes educational technology (EdTech) implementation in Muslim-majority countries, examining innovations, applications, and outcomes during 2019-2024. Through a mixed-methods approach combining document analysis, quantitative metrics, and case studies across thirty-five educational institutions in twelve countries, the research investigates how EdTech solutions address educational challenges while maintaining Islamic educational principles. Our findings, based on extensive empirical data, reveal significant advances in AI-enabled learning platforms (37% improvement in student performance), mobile-based Islamic education applications (56% increase in user engagement), and blended learning models (47% higher student engagement rates). The study demonstrates that culturally aligned implementations achieve substantially higher engagement and retention rates compared to traditional methods. This research contributes to understanding the intersection of modern educational technology with Islamic educational traditions, providing evidence-based frameworks for implementation in culturally sensitive contexts.
