Enhancing Family Gratification and Well-being during the COVID-19 Pandemic: Unveiling the transformative power of Social Media on Quality of Life (QoL)

The model empirical evidence on family communication was gratified in the context of social media wellness and quality of life (QoL) during COVID-19. During the COVID-19, we investigated the role of social media in family communication. Evaluated family communication in relation to QoL and family gratification model. A web-based survey was conducted in Pakistan using a cross-sectional population-based approach. The structural equation model of Smart PLS was employed for data analysis. Findings show that family affection was negatively associated with social media communication (SMC) but not with family gratification. Family well-being during COVID-19 is significantly impacted SMC and family gratification. A partial mediating effect on SMC, while QoL strengthens the positive relationship between SMC and family gratification.
