Abstract

This study conducted with complete analysis of the function of public prosecutors (PPs) inside the criminal justice of Pakistan (CJP) in the context of province of Punjab, Multan District using a mixed approach. The research employed questionnaires such as each open-ended and close-ended question to accumulate facts from individuals representing the judiciary, PPs, lawyers, and the general public. The findings of the observe suggest that PPs preserve a full-size position inside the CJP serving as a critical pillar in ensuring the truthful and green administration of justice. However, the analysis found out numerous demanding situations faced via PPs, including immoderate workload, negligence, lack of skills, and inadequate abilities, which frequently preclude their capacity to perform their obligations efficiently. The take a look at highlights the need for addressing those challenges and emphasizes the significance of presenting adequate schooling and guide to PPs to enhance their performance and effectiveness. The questionnaires conducted as a part of the observe aimed to gather insights from different stakeholders concerned inside the criminal justice system. Participants from the judiciary, PPs, legal professionals, and most of the people were included to capture diverse perspectives and studies. The findings of the examination shed mild at the critical position of PPs in the criminal justice machine. They act as representatives of the nation and play a pivotal role in offering proof, representing the interests of justice, and ensuring the rule of regulation.
